Most Winningest Coach in Massachusetts: Coach DiBiaso is a Cardillo's World profile of Coach DiBiaso, the winningest high‑school football coach in Massachusetts history: 17 state championships and a record 15 Super Bowl titles across five decades at Weston, Everett, and Catholic Memorial. Built around a long‑form sit‑down interview, the episode turns on his lifelong friendship with Steve Cardillo, whose family he grew up alongside in Everett, and runs through a career that brushed up against Boston sports history: from coaching the Gronkowski brothers to why he takes Brady over Montana. Along the way, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Bruins Hall of Famer Gerry Cheevers, and Pat Bradley all send in video shout‑outs to Coach.
I shot the interview as Director of Photography and cut the full episode as editor. It was a four‑camera sit‑down, covered on the Sony FX9, Panasonic EVA1, Sony FS5, and a Sony Handycam, with a Canon CN‑E 18‑80mm cine zoom in the glass rotation, so the conversation could be cut with real range and never sit on a single angle. In the edit I also built the episode's custom motion graphics package, keeping it on‑brand with the rest of the show.
It's part of a broader role on Cardillo's World: I also edited Korea Comes to Boston, stepped in on Cardillo Goes to South Korea, and cut and co‑shot Remember the Hulk, and the Cardillo family brought me on as Director of Photography for the show going forward.
From multi‑camera interviews to full episode edits with custom motion graphics, I shoot and cut interview‑driven stories that make people feel something, for networks and brands across New England and New York.
