Remember the Hulk is a standalone Cardillo's World tribute to Hulk Hogan, a lifelong friend of Steve Cardillo who helped him get his start. Rather than follow a standard run of show, this one leans into the emotion of the tribute, built to make the viewer feel something.
I was brought on to edit this episode. The interview and workout segments had been filmed by other team members, but there was no complete package to build from, so I conceived a set of new segments to shoot on top of the existing footage.
After brainstorming those pieces, I stepped behind the camera as Director of Photography and captured them with the team, giving the episode a level of polish it needed. Moving between the edit and the camera on the same tribute let me shape it as one cohesive, emotional story.
This is the Director of Photography side of my work on the show. For the editorial side, see the Freedom x Cardillo: Korea Comes to Boston episode.
From concept and shooting to the final cut, I build emotional, broadcast‑ready pieces across New England and New York, and I bring the camera, the kit, and the calm.
