Cardillo's World

About the Program

Cardillo's World is a sports and lifestyle show on NBC Sports Boston built around Steve Cardillo and the people in his life: a football coach his family grew up alongside in Everett, a training brand from South Korea, his old friend Hulk Hogan.

My Role

I came on as lead editor, hired to pull a few projects together while the show was in transition. After I cut two episodes, the Cardillo family made me the show's director of photography.

Coming from the edit helps on set. I know what the cut needs, so I shoot for it on the day.

Episodes

John DiBiaso: The Coach Behind the Championships. A profile of the winningest high‑school football coach in Massachusetts history and his lifelong friendship with Steve Cardillo. Rob Gronkowski, Gerry Cheevers, and Pat Bradley send video messages. I shot it as director of photography and cut it.

South Korea: United by Passion. Part one of the collaboration with South Korea's Freedom Whatever brand. I re‑cut it for the show and filmed additional scenes.

From South Korea to Cardillo's World. Part two of the collaboration. I edited it to network standard.

Remembering Hulk Hogan (Tribute Special). A standalone tribute to Hulk Hogan. I edited it and shot the new segments as director of photography.
