What it looks like to bring me on for your next project.
You can reach me through the contact form on this site, by email, or through a referral. However you found me works.
From there we'll set up a quick Zoom or phone call to talk through your project: what you're looking for, the vibe, the timeline, and any specifics that'll help me put together the right plan.
No commitment at this stage. It's just a conversation to see if we're a good fit and to make sure I understand your vision before anything moves forward.
After our call, I'll put together a detailed estimate that covers crew, gear, travel, and any other production needs. Everything is transparent and itemized so you know exactly where your budget is going.
A 50% retainer locks in the date and crew. This is due at signing or one month before filming, whichever comes first. The retainer ensures I can reserve equipment and coordinate any additional crew members.
The crew gets locked in one week before your shoot date. Cancellations within that final week are non-refundable, since the crew has already been booked and committed. Anything before that window is fully flexible.
This is the fun part. I show up with the gear, the crew, and a plan. Whether it's a documentary shoot, a commercial, a live event, or a corporate video, we run the day smooth and efficient.
I handle all the technical details: camera settings, lighting, audio, and shot composition. You just focus on your content and I'll make sure it looks and sounds incredible.
Depending on the project, shoots can range from a half day to multiple days. Everything is outlined in the estimate so there are no surprises on set.
This is where the magic happens. I take all the raw footage and start building the story. The first cut is about getting the structure, pacing, and overall feel heading in the right direction.
You'll get a first cut to review along with one free round of revisions. This is your chance to give feedback on pacing, music, order of scenes, or anything else before we move into finishing.
I work in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, depending on the project. You'll have full visibility into the process and I keep communication open throughout.
Once the edit is locked, we move into the polish phase. This includes color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, nameplates, lower thirds, and any animations or visual effects.
If your project needs music licensing, I'll help source tracks that fit the tone and handle the licensing. Same goes for stock footage or any other assets we might need.
This stage typically takes a few days depending on the complexity. You'll get a final review before everything is rendered and exported in your preferred format.
The remaining 50% of the project total is due before the final deliverables are released. I accept payment via check, Venmo, Zelle, or bank transfer. For larger projects, I'm happy to work out a payment plan.
Once payment clears, you'll receive the final video files via a secure download link. Standard delivery includes a high-res master file and a web-optimized version.
Need specific formats or aspect ratios for social media? Just let me know and I'll export versions for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or whatever platforms you need. All project files are archived for 90 days after delivery.
