Video Editor·Gaffer

Streamlining an Icon is a ninety second design film on the renovation of Rowes Wharf in Boston, made in 2023 for LLM Designs and produced by Above Summit. I edited the film and gaffed select scenes, and it’s published on LLM’s own Vimeo channel.
Honestly, the location did a lot of the heavy lifting on this one. Documenting the renovation got us into spaces the public never sees, so our job was to show them clearly. We shot on the Canon C70 and used a DJI Phantom for the views from above.
On the scenes I gaffed, I wanted to support the light the architecture already had without overpowering it. A redesigned space is the client’s work, so the light has to show the materials and the shapes the way the designers meant them.
Ninety seconds isn’t a lot of time for the renovation of a Boston landmark. There was no room for a wasted shot, whether it was a view from above the water or one of the new spaces inside.
If you’ve got a finished space to show, I can light it so the design reads and cut it short enough to share. I also worked on the CRISPR Therapeutics office walkthrough with LLM Designs and Above Summit, and there’s more of my crew work on camera operator and DP for hire in Boston.

If you’ve got a renovation, an office or a building to show, tell me about the space and I’ll put a plan together. I’ll light it so the design reads and keep the cut short enough to share.
