I am an Emmy Award winning director of photography and editor based on the North Shore. I shoot TV commercials, interviews, events and documentary work from Peabody to Gloucester, and I went to school here, at Endicott College in Beverly. Local shoots carry no travel fee.

A local crew of one
A thirty second commercial for a small business up here is a one day shoot and about a week of editing. I can light it, film it, record the sound and cut it, then deliver a file your station will accept. The ProForm spot in Salisbury was made exactly that way.
The rest of my work is interviews, event coverage, school and nonprofit films, and photography: corporate headshots on location, editorial portraits and event coverage. My broadcast and documentary credits are mostly in Boston, a short drive down Route 1, and the same cameras and the same standards come to a shoot in Danvers or Newburyport.
I own the package, so there is no rental house in the middle. A Sony FX9, a Canon C300 Mark II, a Panasonic EVA1 and a Sony a7 IV, with lighting, audio and a gimbal. The full list is on the gear page.
What a shoot day costs on the North Shore

On the North Shore. Peabody, Salem, Beverly and Danvers are all close, and I cover the coast up through Gloucester and Newburyport.
Is there a travel fee for a shoot in Salem or Gloucester?
No. Travel is included anywhere on the North Shore and in Greater Boston.
Can you make a TV commercial for a small business?
Yes. A thirty second spot is usually one shoot day and about a week of editing. I handle the camera, lighting, sound and the edit, and I deliver to the station’s broadcast spec.
Do you take photographs as well as video?
Yes. Corporate headshots on location, editorial portraits, event coverage and commercial photography. Rates are on the pricing page.
How do I book a date?
A 50% retainer holds the date, and the balance is due at delivery. Two to four weeks of notice is comfortable.
