Clery's in Boston was packed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The U.S. Men's National Team played Bosnia and Herzegovina in the World Cup Round of 32. Goals from Folarin Balogun and Malik Tillman won it and sent the USA to the Round of 16. Dirty Water Media covered the party for Dirty Water TV on NESN.
About Dirty Water TV
Dirty Water TV is Dirty Water Media's long‑running NESN show on Boston sports, nightlife, and culture. The same team made this summer's Summer Stroll series. A World Cup afternoon in a packed Boston bar is their kind of shoot, and mine.
My Role
I ran ENG camera inside Clery's and recorded and monitored sound off the handheld mic. I also grabbed B‑roll of the crowd, the bar, and the reactions. A live match has no second take. I keep one eye on the screen, and when a chance builds I swing to the faces. I'm already on them when the place goes up.
I shot on the Panasonic EVA1 with the Canon 18‑80, small enough to run camera and sound alone through a crowd.
